A Kit to Benefit Local Communities

Sephora's new charitable program kicks off with its first launch.

Sephora has launched its first limited edition cosmetic collection, YOU + SEPHORA, to benefit charity. Sephora USA, Inc. will donate $13 for each bag sold to that store’s selected charity, while bags sold on Sephora.com will benefit the American Heart Association.

YOU + SEPHORA is a collectable cosmetic pouch, filled with a mini lip gloss in dusty pink; a mini gold glitter liquid eyeliner; and a mini nail polish in warm champagne.

Sephora USA will make this donation for each bag sold from June 1 through December 31, 2013, while supplies last.

The launch is a part of retailer’s new charitable program is called Values Inside Out, which matches Sephora stores across America with non-profit organizations in their own communities. Under this program, each store’s team of sales associates chose a local non-profit to help. (A list of charities can be found here, at www.sephora.com/values-inside-out).

Mary Herald, Sephora’s executive vice president of Human Resources and Education, commented: “At Sephora, our continual mission for Values Inside Out is to inspire and engage our teams to play a part in making a difference in their communities, and this bag allows them to do just that, share their passion for cosmetics with their clients that ultimately supports our charitable partners across the country.”
